But the problem isn’t the practice. It’s the foundation. Most affirmations start with “I am…” and end with something we wish were true.
That’s like building a house on clouds.
Christian affirmations are different because they rest on something that doesn’t shift: God’s truth about you. When you speak what’s actually true, you’re not trying to make something real, you’re reminding your heart of what already is true.
